LEO: Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity

LEO Clubs are a youth program sponsored by Lions International to teach young people about community and humanitarian service.  LEO clubs choose service projects and carry them out.  The Alexander County Schools, and Alexander Central High School, have been gracious enough to host the Alexander Central LEO Club, which is sponsored by the Taylorsville Lions Club.

 

The ACHS LEO Club

- functions as a school club, doing things such as:

Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween, or the homecoming banner contest

 

Here is our banner, which placed 2nd:

- often participates in Lions projects and community activities

- engages in fundraising for humanitarian purposes, and sometimes just having a good time
